The Vegan Booster Club
Do you wear your veganism on your sleeve? It’s great to lead by quiet example, but consider making an even stronger impact by speaking up about your reasons for going vegan. Remember, the animals don’t have a voice, so now is the time to amp up your game to the next level.
Okay, so you’re a 49ers fan? Add a little dash of vegan to your red and gold. You’ll be surprised at the impression you’ll make. Be prepared by having a few of “The Reason For Vegan: Compassion In Action” flyers and “Vegan Starter Kits” with you. Click here to order them. While you’re at the game be sure to support the stadium’s vegan menu. These days virtually all professional level ballparks have a vegan dog or a vegan burger.
If you’re going to a dinner party or pot luck, instead of bringing a bottle of wine, bring a vegan dish or dessert.
Other ways you can make a difference for animals, for the health of people and the environment:
- Wear a vegan t-shirt, hoody, necklace or pin (click here to order IDA vegan merchandise)
- Get a personalized license plate or license plate frame
- Put bumper stickers on your car, laptop and notebooks
- Use an animal rights quote in your email signature and include the link to our vegan campaign (http://www.idausa.org/campaigns/vegan/vegan.html)
- Use Facebook and Twitter to politely promote the benefits of a vegan diet
- Set a goal to speak to at least one person each day about veganism
- Feed your dogs a healthy vegan dog food
- Show someone a video about the horrors of factory farming or about the health and environmental benefits of living a vegan lifestyle
- Cook or buy a non-vegan a vegan meal
It’s up to us to try to enlighten others and do all we can to help animals.
So keep your eye on the tofu and take it one person at a time. Let’s do this! Go Team Vegan!

Work every day of your life to right what is wrong.

I worked extra hours to get three cats spayed and one dog because the animals guardians didn’t have the money to do so. This makes me feel great and is money well spent.
Vegan every which way!
Hello! Go vegan!
[...] up for animals, speak up for what is right, and speak loudly. Never be afraid to be labeled an extremist, but be an extremist for peace and compassion for ALL [...]
My method is to appeal to the mainstream public’s vanity and their wish for a better appearance.
I wrote a diet book, entitled The Las Vegas Showgirl Diet, based upon my own personal weight loss experience. It’s a plant-based diet, which accommodates vegans/vegetarians and can be customized for omnivores who are trying to gradually reduce their consumption of animal products. I find this has worked better than urging people to quit cold, if they are not familiar with the moral issues and dietary choices of veganism.
Thus far, I’ve converted about 89% of my former meat-eating clients to a plant-based diet. They’re healthier and have kept their weight off. . .so they are walking testimonials.
I created reusable grocery totes and lunch bags with vegan messages to get the conversation going while shopping for groceries or eating and they work! I also created 100% organic T-shirts with vegan messages. the merry vegan
Hasn’t everyone noticed how meat-eaters are more violent, more aggressivly rude, & have less compassion towards people & animals?
Hasn’t everyone noticed how vegetarians are generally more calm, less aggressive, non-violent, nicer & more compassionate?
Every serial killer was violent to animals & all were meat-eaters. As far as I know, all murderers were meat-eaters. Doesn’t THAT tell you something is wrong with meat?
Some of the nastiest people I’ve run into online have been animal lovers; vegans or vegetarians, criticizing my opinion or preaching to me about my truthfulness regarding my diet. The truth is I rarely, almost never eat meat, but that gets ‘some’ people all outta whack because it’s not enough for them!
Except that they are usually cooked on the same grill as the other meat so I don’t ever buy one. I’m a Saints fan – a city full of meat – wondering if the dome even has that lol. I usually just eat before then stick to chips
I’m completely okay with the same grill being used. That doesn’t cause any animals to die or support any animal suffering. I agree it’s gross but I think it’s important to support the option. We’ll probably see you guys in SF soon.
LOVE IT! Might just get into American football now, become a 49ers fan and have a vegan dog at the stadium next time I come to SF!
Thanks! You should!
Outstanding post, just what I wanted to come across.
I wholeheartedly agree with the ideas expressed here. I love the football jersey.
Super great way to spread the word!!!!
Thanks, me to!
