Queenie needs your help more than ever!
The San Antonio Zoo has announced that Queenie arrived Wednesday morning. We ask that you continue to call Secretary Vilsack’s office at 202-720-3631 and express your outrage. Tell him the USDA is responsible for this move and must take immediate action to remove Queenie and send her to the PAWS sanctuary. Read more.

I have a fantasy that one day a space ship like the one in Independence Day will come to earth and have a taste for human flesh and the humanoids will be crated, caged, bullhooked, pitchforked, chained, beaten and prodded just like we, the sadists, do all the animals that we exploit abuse , kill and use for whatever purpose we choose to without a thought for the animal and then just discard or use them up…I get so disgusted
There is an elephant sanctuary in Tennessee, she should be allowed to go there. She could at least have something of a normal elephant life……

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could give me an email address to complain to as I am not from the States and it is difficult for me to call abroad due to cost/time difference etc…
If anyone can help please let me know! Thanks.
Help elephants to live the life they deserve and not the treatment you are giving them! One day nature will take over and I hope the elephants will take their revenge on the human race that tortured them for centuries!
Correction: Friday the 23rd. Thanks.
I just checked the USDA/APHIS newsroom site(its 1:30 pm here in Seattle, Friday the 24th) and, if I am not mistaken, there is no Statement about the confiscation of Queenie or a News Release about Queenie arriving at the Texas zoo. Why is that? Kevin Shea reported to the public about the confiscation of Tina and Jewel from Davenports. Why is Queenie’s news any different or have I missed something? As Nancy pointed out in her blog, APHIS and AZA transported her over night: did anyone other than the Agency know about the move and was there no one from Team Queenie present?
Is their a problem with you people. Animals need their freedom. It is not good to do this to the elephants in your care. I pray one day that this is reverced and the animals are on the outside looking in to the people that did this to them. What goes around comes around. Think about that!!!!!
I called and spoke with the animal care division of the USDA. I told the woman that I opposed Vilsack’s decision to send Queenie to the SA Zoo. I also told her that the former vet at the SA Zoo expressed concern for the elephants’ safety. I read her the letter that was in the pdf file.
